We met Nainepua L. as a child at Wamba Hospital in Kenya: a bone infection in her right arm caused a painful wound and kept her from moving it. The Adopt a Patient programme covered her hospital stay and the surgery she needed, followed by weekly dressing changes at the dispensary in her village, Tuum. Today Nainepua has fully recovered.
